NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Sickness and pain is a part of life here
as it falls on the young and the old.
But the child of God needs never despair
as we see His wonders unfold.

There are so many things that we must endure
as through this old world we roam.
But one thing for sure things will change
when we reach our heavenly home.

We are just pilgrims in a strange land
we are traveling to a place better far.
Life's trials at times may cause us to wonder
but God always knows where we are.

One day our journey will come to an end
as we will rest at the foot of His throne.
The troubles of this world will fall by the way
then we will find there is no place like home.
